Elevated Honors Indigenous Peoples’ Day Across Montana
We started Elevated with one goal: to serve Montana the way Montanans deserve.
Our roots run deep here, in the same communities where our customers live and work. Every budtender, grower, and baker on our team calls this state home, and that connection shows in everything we do.
But being Montana-made means carrying forward the traditions, values, and resilience that define this place. The cultures that have shaped Montana for generations are woven into its soil, rivers, and stories. We honor that every day by showing up for the communities that built the foundation we all stand on.
This year, as Montana marked its first officially recognized Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we wanted to celebrate that history not just with words, but with action. So, we chose to give back, to honor the Indigenous nations whose roots in this land run deeper than any of us.
A Celebration of Community and Culture

At Elevated, Montana runs deep in our roots. Every harvest, every store, and every customer relationship is built on a shared sense of place, and a shared respect for the people who make this state what it is. So when it came time to honor Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we wanted our celebration to reflect that same spirit of gratitude and belonging.
This year, we set out to do something simple but meaningful: to give back.
Across all Elevated locations, guests who presented a valid Tribal ID were invited to enjoy their choice of a 1g pre-roll or a pack of Elevated gummies, on us. In addition, we offered 20% off every purchase throughout the day for Tribal ID holders, as a gesture of thanks to the communities who have long shaped Montana’s history, heart, and identity.
Throughout the day, our stores filled with familiar faces, new visitors, and heartfelt conversations. Customers shared stories about their heritage, their families, and their pride in seeing this day finally recognized across the state.
Budtenders listened, learned, and celebrated alongside them.
Because at its core, Indigenous Peoples’ Day is about relationship. And for us, it was a reminder that being Montana-owned means investing in the people, traditions, and cultures that make this land feel like home.
Voices of Montana: Elevated’s Indigenous Team Members
Indigenous Peoples’ Day is a time to reflect, honor, and recognize the cultures that have long defined Montana. For many on the Elevated team, that meaning runs deep. It’s woven into who they are and what they bring to our stores every day. Across Billings, Missoula, and Bozeman, our Indigenous team members lead with pride, helping shape a culture of inclusivity and respect that defines Elevated from the inside out.
Tierra Pullin: Chippewa Cree, Assistant Manager, Elevated Billings

For Tierra Pullin, the day carried both pride and perspective. As a Native American woman working in the cannabis industry, she sees firsthand how representation and respect can transform workplaces, and communities.
“As a born-and-raised Montanan, I’m deeply grateful for Elevated’s commitment to recognizing and honoring Native American people. As a Native American woman in the cannabis industry, it’s incredibly uplifting to see the effort put into ensuring inclusivity and respect for our heritage. It means a lot to be part of a company that truly values our community.”
Jessica Ranel: Chippewa Cree, Little Shell Tribe, Assistant Manager, Elevated Missoula

At Elevated’s Missoula store, Jessica Ranel helps customers feel welcomed, informed, and cared for. As a member of the Little Shell Chippewa Tribe, Jessica shared how meaningful it is to work for a company that reflects and respects the people it serves.
“Being Indigenous is deeply important to me. Having a platform at Elevated where I can truly give back means everything. It's powerful to witness firsthand what it looks like to be recognized and to recognize our customers in return. That's what makes this work so meaningful.”
Jess Pepion: Blackfoot Tribe, Assistant Manager, Elevated Bozeman

In Bozeman, Jess Pepion brings her Blackfoot heritage and leadership to every customer interaction, ensuring that Elevated’s presence in each community honors the people who make it unique. For her, Indigenous Peoples’ Day reflects a shared pride that goes far beyond one celebration.
“It's incredibly meaningful to showcase what we have, specifically for my people. It speaks volumes about how Elevated shows up for every community it's part of. You just don't see that from most businesses. It makes me genuinely proud to be part of something this special.”
Together, these women embody what Indigenous Peoples’ Day represents: presence, pride, and leadership.
At Elevated, we’re honored to have Indigenous team members leading from within, guiding customers, educating staff, and shaping the culture that makes our stores feel like home.
From Billings to the Hi-Line: Celebrating Across Montana
Montana’s story stretches from the rugged peaks of the west to the windswept plains of the east, and so does Elevated’s. With locations across the state, our team is proud to serve communities that reflect Montana’s cultural richness and deep sense of identity.
Wolf Point – Fort Peck Reservation

Our Wolf Point store stands on the edge of the Fort Peck Reservation, a region home to vibrant Indigenous communities whose presence continues to shape northeast Montana. Being part of this area means recognizing the importance of access, respect, and representation. For Elevated, Wolf Point represents what community connection truly looks like, local people serving their neighbors with pride.
Harlem – Near Fort Belknap Reservation

Just down the Hi-Line sits Elevated Harlem, neighboring the Fort Belknap Reservation, where generations of Aaniiih and Nakoda peoples have built a strong and enduring community. This location reflects the heart of Montana’s small-town character, close-knit, welcoming, and deeply rooted in local relationships. As a company, we’re honored to operate alongside communities that carry forward such a rich cultural legacy.
Cut Bank – Near Blackfeet Nation

Our Cut Bank location lies near the Blackfeet Nation, one of Montana’s oldest and most influential tribal communities. The region’s natural beauty and strong cultural heritage mirror the same values we hold close, respect for the land, pride in craftsmanship, and commitment to community.
Billings, Bozeman, and Missoula: A Shared Spirit Across the State
From Billings to Bozeman to Missoula, Elevated’s message stayed the same: honoring Indigenous Peoples’ Day with gratitude and authenticity. Each location joined in the statewide initiative, offering a small token of thanks to Tribal ID holders and acknowledging the diverse cultures that make Montana home.
Across every store, from our biggest cities to the quiet stretches of the Hi-Line, the heart of the celebration was the same, a commitment to community, inclusivity, and Montana pride.
Montana-Made, Montana-Owned, Montana-Grown
At Elevated, everything we do begins and ends in Montana. From the flower we cultivate to the edibles we bake and the people we employ, our story is woven into the fabric of this state. We’re proud to be Montana-made, Montana-owned, and Montana-grown, not just in name, but in spirit.
Being locally owned means something here. It means the people making decisions about our stores, our products, and our community outreach are the same people who live in these towns, drive these roads, and raise their families under the same big sky.
That’s the Elevated way, homegrown, heart-led, and rooted in the people who define Montana.
Looking Ahead: Continuing to Honor and Uplift

As the sun set on Montana’s first officially recognized Indigenous Peoples’ Day, our stores quieted, but the feeling of connection lingered. From Wolf Point to Missoula, we were reminded of what makes this state truly remarkable: its people, its diversity, and its deep respect for the land we all share.
To everyone who stopped by, shared a story, or joined us in celebration, thank you.
Your presence turned a single day into something much larger: a shared reminder that honoring Indigenous heritage isn’t just a moment in time, it’s a continuing commitment.
At Elevated, we believe recognition should never stop when the calendar page turns. The histories, cultures, and contributions of Montana’s Indigenous nations shape our communities every day, and it’s on all of us to keep learning, listening, and uplifting those voices year-round.
As we look ahead, we’re proud to carry this spirit forward, not only through words, but through action, partnership, and respect. Because celebrating Montana means celebrating everyone who calls it home.
We invite you to visit your local Elevated store and join us in honoring the stories that make our state so extraordinary. Whether you come for conversation, connection, or simply to say hello, you’re part of this shared journey. One rooted in community, gratitude, and Montana pride.
Stay Elevated. Stay connected. And together, let’s keep Montana growing, responsibly, respectfully, and proudly.
